This was the first tune written for the group to play so I kind of wanted to feature everyone. The first couple minutes are over a "B" pedal tone, before the A section melody is re-harmonised. The guitar solo is followed by a bass solo, which then goes to the last section, where Tim takes it out with a sax solo.

The idea for this tune was to predominantly use a repetitive staccato bass line with a soaring kind of melody over the top. This is then released at the B section, which is followed by a funky sax solo.

This arrangement basically started out as an exercise to see how many times I could reharmonise this classic Beatles tune. The guitar solo is over some nice chord changes, before going back to the bridge, then into a sax solo and out.

I wrote this tune with the music of Wayne Krantz in mind. The title has no significance other than that I just liked the sound of it.

I began humming the melody to this whilst in the toilet of my old house, which was indeed a small green room (the toilet, not the house). The idea to open with a solo guitar section came later.

I had an idea to write a tune that would have a crazy, frenetic kind of section that would be resolved by the same figure every eight bars or so. We do exactly that, until a bridge section melody that occurs over a "D" pedal tone which is followed by a guitar/drums feature. Back the head, then out.

This was written with a similar concept in mind as Small Green Room. The nylon string guitar works well, and is once again well supported by Darryn and Craig.

I wanted to write an arrangement for this because it is a tune that I had been practising trying to solo over for a while ( as most jazz musicians do ). However I thought it would be cool to make the arrangement something that would be more unique to this band so added in a few things to balance it out, including the "E" pedal
section in the head.

This tune was based on a short rhythmic idea and basically expanded from there. The main melody gets moved through a few different keys and reharmonised before moving into a darker, open solo section.
