The Story
Al DiMeola is one of the world's leading jazz guitar players. A pioneer of jazz-rock fusion in the seventies and eighties, in recent years he has been pushing the boundaries of the acoustic guitar. The "Live At Montreux 1986/1993" DVD combines two performances by Al DiMeola at the Montreux Jazz Festival. The first, from 1986, is a solo acoustic performance, while the 1993 concert features DiMeola with guitarist Chris Carrington and percussionist Arto Tuncboyaciyan, who also provides occasional vocals.
