Shred/Neo-Classical Metal
Language Of The Spirits marks the first international release from renowned South American guitarist Hittar Cuesta. The 10 tracks on this release are a pure display of blazing instrumental guitar inspired by the likes of Tony MacAlpine, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. From the opening Satriani-esque rocker "Steel Birds" to the neo-classical workout of "Labyrinth", Hittar's debut release for Progressive Arts Music is a true feast for fans of jaw dropping guitar acrobatics. Since moving to Cuenca, Ecuador at the age of 19 to teach, Hittar has had a steady career in music. Hittar's first band, Cruks en Karnak, recorded their debut album for Sony Music and gained much success throughout South America. After a stint in the heavy metal band Falk, Hittar set out on his own and has now brought his debut solo recording to the attention of fans on a much broader scale. The music on Language Of The Spirits reflects his diverse influences by delving into rock, classical, jazz and blues - though wrapping them up in a metal inspired package. CD comes enhanced with bonus MP3s highlighting other releases within the Progressive Arts Music catalog. Instrumental Guitar (Electric (Heavy)/Shred/Neo-Classical Metal), total running time, 50:25 - Hittar Cuesta @ iTunes!
