his CD was the long awaited return to electric music for Al, after a few CDs of world fusion and acoustic projects, it seemed as though he was following it the footsteps of McLaughlin, by moving away from the high energy fusion that made them both famous, this is the coming full circle cd for DiMeola, and arguably his most complex and ambitious work to date, you will hear music that is both daring and refreshing, not anything like his early solo fusion work, but certainly as entertaining. It's nice to hear Al on electric again, is writing also deserves mention, as these compositions are brilliant.
