King Of The World is an album for people who are tired of the music that they hear on radio and on TV. Armistice is the brainchild of David Smith, a guitarist from Sydney, Australia who long ago relinquished the lure of the music business for the thrill of banking, and is determined to keep his day job. The album features 16 tracks of guitar-based voiceless music covering a wide range of styles. From the frenetic Spanish influences of "Girl On A Train" to the quiet, ethereal beauty of "Sleepless" and from the soaring electric lead of "Skeletons" to the haunting, drama-filled "Wild At Heart." The music found on King Of The World has a central principle: it must stand alone - without voices or words. This is not relaxation or ambient music utlilzing samples of pygmies chanting or endangered species - this is music with teeth, and a little complexity. Music by an adult for an adult audience. Instrumental Guitar (Acoustic/New Age), total running time, 49:31
