Kangaralien began as a way for two friends (guitarists Steve Belleville and Eric Clemenzi) to create music together. The result is the collection of songs on this album, entitled Belleville And Clemenzi Present Kangaralien. The duo hopes you enjoy listening to the music as much as they enjoyed writing, playing and recording it. On the record, Belleville plays a Taylor 414CE six-string acoustic and Clemenzi plays an Ibanez AJ307 seven-string acoustic (both steel-string guitars). Belleville's guitar is panned to the left and Clemenzi's guitar is panned to the right. All songs are played in standard tuning except "First Impression" (Belleville capos the 5th fret and Clemenzi capos the 1st) and "Owls" (Clemenzi plays in drop-D).
