Michael Angelo was born in Chicago and started playing guitar at the age of ten. He studied Music Theory and Composition at Northeastern Illinois University in Chicago. Michael invented and was the world`s first player of the twin necked, left- and right-handed double guitar which has since become his trademark. He amazes audiences worldwide by playing the guitar either right- or left-handed, or playing both guitars at the same time in harmony, or literally two separate parts and/or melodies at the same time. The original double guitar is on the wall of fame in the Chicago Hard Rock Cafe.
Michael has toured extensively with his band Nitro, made numerous television and movie appearances, including hosting MTV`s Headbangers Ball, and has jammed with many bands including Kiss, members of the Ozzy Osbourne band and Guns `N` Roses. He currently endorses Washburn guitars and has performed guitar workshops in the USA, England, Scotland, Ireland, Belgium, Holland, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Germany, Mexico, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Russia and Japan.
