Italian guitarist Gianluca Sturiale, along with brother Paolo Sturiale (bass) and Lorenzo Fonda (drums) delivers a CD featuring an interesting mix of hard rock influenced tunes ("Cozumel", "In June", "Guacamole"), rock/jazz/fusion inflected numbers ("Simply", "Sweet Home", "Song For Wilma"), and some that cross both stylistic boundries in the same tune ("Unpro" and "Sunny Sunday Part 2", to name a few). Even straightforward, evocatve rock is covered in "Terra". The CD is entitled I Wish You, and features a couple of guests - guitarist Stef Burns adds some wicked solos to "In June" and bassist Schuyler Deale contributes low end to the opener, "Cozumel". When Sturiale decides to cut loose with his heavily overdriven axe for the solos, it's every man for himself, as the listener becomes enveloped in six-string shards of sonic splendor. I Wish You is an engaging mix of tracks designed to appeal to open-minded guitar fans. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Hard Rock/Fusion), total running time, 49:35
