Drew Moroz

"It's Forever"

The Story
California guitarist Drew Moroz states in the liner notes to his CD "It's Forever", "Music comes from the source of everything. It speaks its own language to everyone. When there's a song in your head all day it just means that you speak it too." With that in mind, he composed and performed the twelve instrumentals, using just an electric guitar (primarily as the lead voice) and an acoustic guitar (primarily as the rhythmic foundation). Heavily melodic, passionate and evocative, the spartan instrumentation guides the listener towards what is really important - the message behind each individual piece. Several pieces are all acoustic, such as the opening title track and "Sadness #1 and #2", but the electric/acoustic yin and yang on most tracks is the dominant presentation. A spirited and enganging instrumental guitar offering.
