Albums Worth A Listen
|
|
EGH is a fusion trio of inspired players that combine melodic guitar licks with harmonically aggressive bass and rockin' poly-rhythmic drums to create an invigorating sound on their debut CD, "It's About Time". The band features guitarist Ernesto Homeyer, bassist Albie Dunbar and drummer Charlie Waymire. The album as recorded, mixed and mastered by guitar and engineering wizard T.J. Helmerich. Always to seeking to challenge the musical status quo, this band strives to take its listeners in a new direction. Critics have compared EGH to the likes of Tribal Tech, Garsed & Helmerich, Joe Satriani and Steve Vai - meaning that "It's About Time" will appeal to fans of rock, blues, jazz and fusion.
