Involution
|
Gianluca Ferro's "Involution" is the first solo CD from the amazing lead guitarist of Time Machine (on "Evil" and "Reviviscence"), and is also well known for his previous activity with Doomsword and Arkhe. On this fascinating instrumental disc, Ferro displays his great compositional ability supported by his now renowned technical skills.
"Involution" is that kind of disc that can be easily compared to the likes of Patrick Rondat, or other musicians for whom an instrumental album is not just a show of sheer technique. Composition at its best, artistry, passion, harmonic research, experimentation - these are just some of the elements enjoyed by any lover of progressive heavy rock as presented by Gianluca's personal vision. Some very illustrious guests make this work shine even brighter, and it's names like Scott McGill (McGill/Manring/Stevens), Alex Del Vecchio (Edge Of Forever) and others monsters of that quality and eminence.
