eff Kollman is a well known studio musician who has composed numerous pieces for commercials and television including MTV and ESPN. He is also the
guitarist for Edwin Dare, an excellent rock/metal band. He has also written for various guitar publications on recording techniques.
Jeff's CD "Into the Unknown" is great hard rock instrumental with touches of classical and jazz. He is clearly a very versatile guitarist and has a great sound and style. The balance between chops and songwriting is perfect and backing work by Legato labelmate Kevin Chown and brother Tommy Kollman is excellent. This is one of my favorite instrumentals.
