Yngwie J. Malmsteen

"Inspiration"

The Story
"Inspiration" is a double disc set containing Yngwie J. Malmsteen's cover versions of songs (by Deep Purple, Jimi Hendrix, Kansas, Scorpions, UK, Rush, etc.) that have inspired him throughout his life. The second disc of "Inspiration" contains an exclusive interview and five unreleased tracks - Yngwie Malmsteen in conversation with old friend Leif Edling - the truths, the rumours, the secrets, the super rare songs. The unreleased tracks include "Merlin's Castle", which is an except from the Rising Force demo from 1980, and "Hunted", a Powerhouse demo 1978 (pre-Rising Force).
