Progressive/Rock
The music of the band Mindflowers can be described as a mostly progressive-instrumental rock with a taste of jazz-fusion. The band consists of Balazs Szendofi on bass and Stick; Zoltan Szentpal on guitar; Gergely Gaspar on drums and Zsolt Nagy on keyboards. Improgressive features nine instrumental tracks which are quite different; you'll find fast and complicated progressive rock songs ("Red Spider"), lyrical duets of keyboard and seven-string bass ("Why"), floating Chapman Stick adventures ("Crying Skies"), folk music-like dances of violin and classical guitar ("Flo's Kisses") and a more than 20 minutes long epic composition ("Talk With Myself"). These four musicians share the same objective - to mix the elements of progressive rock, jazz-fusion and world music in a moderate and demanding way, harmonizing the music of mind and heart. Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Progressive/Rock), total running time, 67:24
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as Zoltan Szentpal?
