This was one of the toughest tracks to get a grip on, but using the 5th mode of the harmonic minor most of the time, I finally came up with a take that had enough cool ideas in it to be "acceptable" in my mind.

This track was my quickest take. Sometimes the simplest tracks are the most inspiring, and I locked into this one immediately while just going for the "feel factor". Then I added a B3 type keyboard after the fact, which seemed to fit well.

I enjoy playing to slow tempos like this, so it was another opportunity to play more from the heart than the mind, while searching for that sometimes elusive melody or theme.

After getting a "keeper" on this one, upon review, I decided to redo it and take a jazzier approach, and it seemed to work well with a "recurring theme" and my gnarly tone in the mid section. I didn`t do andy punches on any of these tunes, so all my tone changes were on the fly, which is more fun anyway.

This one seemed to work best in a "bluesy/groove" context, so I looked for a theme to build it around and threw in some "wah" in the middle, which always has to read its head at some point.

I took a lot of time with this one as to not repeat previous ideas, and ended up discovering a lot of new things. And I added the "choir" keyboards after the fact, as they seemed appropriate.

After several attempts, I decided on a be-bobby dorian approach on this one and some "outside" playing, and a cool little pattern I stumbled across for the main theme. Serendipity!

This was another enjoyable slow paced number that I tried a more subtle appraoch on by using volume swells with harmonics, open string runs, harmonic runs, hybrid picking, and ghost bends.
