The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.

Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Future plans: For starters I would like to record local HS age bands this summer. I already have a few mainstay clients, and we are presently mixing a demo. I have been involved in recording and mixing many local singer/songwriters in the Charleston area. I really want to give young musicians the break I needed when I was young and couldnt get. Just give back a little and enjoy music and correspondance with others like me.

Comments: I have been in the know for about 11 years and have always payed others to give me what I waasnt hearing in my head. As an amateur Engineer/Producer, I am interested in projects that are going to make sense and headway. Im not that interested in just anything off the street. In the last 4 years I went from owning a tascam 788 for home purposes....To driving to Nashville Tennessee and buying a man's entire studio from his home and crammed it into a minivan. One trip, and 500 miles to Charleston SC. $10,000 dollars in the hole and loving it!
