The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.

Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Seamus Hennessy's Studio Details

After years of trying to record in the house with 3 kids I finally managed to build a studio about 30 yards from the house.

Secondary purpose: Practice/Rehearsal

Future plans: New band coming next week to start demo of original material. I am working on my 3rd demo. ALso 2 other clients coming for small recording work (Shan os singing if you ever heard of that)

Guitars: YAmaha CPX (ACoustic) Fender Strat & Tele. Ibanez SD GR (Bass)
Keyboards: YAmaha P60 Digital Piano & Roland D70 Synth
Sound modules: YAmaha Multi Timbre Sound Module MT32
Percussion: Reason Adapted X-press

Effects: Korg Toneworks AX 100G
Microphones: BEhringer B-2 Pro (Studio), 1 X Dynacord (Stage) & 1 AGK (Stage)
Mixer: Studiomaster Powerhouse 708
Monitoring system: 2 X 60 watt studio monitors

Computers: Dell laptop with 60 GIG hardrive
Music software: Sonar 3 home edition REason adapted express edition and some other stuff i havent looked at yet
Other equipment: M-Audio firewire 18-14 sound card

Comments: After years of trying to record in the house with 3 kids I finally managed to build a studio about 30 yards from the house. I only finished it August 2005 but have already produced an Album for a local musician who is happy with the quality and is running off 400 copies on his first run. This is what I want to do with my life.
