The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.
Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

I have a good knowledge of general electronic design, but very little knowledge of recording music.
E-mail: Click To Send E-mail
Main purpose: Demos
Secondary purpose: Composition
Recording knowledge level: Just learning
MIDI knowledge level: None
Typically work (with): Alone
Completed songs/demos/jingles: Less than 5
Future plans: Just planning to get my original tunes onto CD. It`s difficult to find other musicians to play with in my area, so I`m doing it myself. :)
Guitars: Old Les Paul Jr, Peavey Vandenberg, Gibson Flying V
Keyboards: Cheap yamaha KB
Percussion: Fruityloops for now. Intend to purchase a Zoom drum machine
Effects: Alesis microverb III, ADA Mp-1. I`ll be building most of my effects, I`m an engineering technician and can design my own.
Microphones: Hahahha CHEAP for now. Intend to purchase some good Shure mics or rip off Dad`s.
Mixer: Preparing to build a low-noise simple board I`ve designed.
Monitoring system: Assorted stereos in my truck, apt, etc.
Computers: Home built AMD K6-2/550MHz with 128MB of ram, 64bit sound card, 5GB C: drive, and a 20.4GB drive.
Music software: Sound Forge, Fruity Loops
Other equipment: 50W marshall head, old Kustom 4-10 Hustler, MusicMan 112RD, various distortion pedals I`ve designed and built.
Comments: I have a good knowledge of general electronic design, but very little knowledge of recording music. I am building my own amps and pedals and rack preamps from my designs, but I have a minimal knowledge of how to record, and virtually no familiarity with Midi. *I'm an analog kinda guy* hehehe
