The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.

Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Future plans: To upgrade to a hard disk recording system...YEAH, ALONG WITH EVERYONE ELSE! To finally build that sound-proofed recording booth. To buy a second-hand Neumann to hammer nails with. To find a nice woman who plays bass and rides a bicycle.

Guitars: Godin Multiac, Taylor 410, Ibanez GB-10, Takamine Stereo guitar, Ibanez Artist electric, Ibanez Roadstar fretless bass, Fender Jazz, Yamaha 6 & 12 strings, Ibanez banjo and a Nepalese mandolin.
Keyboards: An M-1....how do you play one of these things?
Sound modules: Roland MV-30, and the M-1, oh and an SPD-11
Percussion: SPD-11 drum pads, Alesis SR-16 and several old Roland drum machines like the TR-707 (great toms) and lots of assorted percussion things.

Effects: Digitech TSR-12, Yamaha REV-1000, Zoom 9002 for the guitars ( Any suggestions for a good guitar effects processor that doesn`t weigh a ton?)
Microphones: SM-58`s and an AKG D-400 dynamic.
Mixer: Mackie 1604, Yamaha RM-602.
Tape decks: Yamaha MT-44D multitrack, Yamaha KX-300 Stereo deck.
Hard disc recorders: I WANT ONE OF THESE...PLEASE ADVISE ME SOMEONE!!!
Monitoring system: A pair of Telefunken 3-way speakers (home Hi-Fi level) and a Luxman amp. A couple of AKG K141 headphones (I swear by these!)

Computers: An old 386 that I use for e-mail.
Other equipment: A Sony ES-60 DAT deck, A Sony DAT walkman (D8 model), A Sony MiniDisc walkman, Two Fostex patch bays, a Roland GI-10 guitar MIDI converter, a Behringer compressor/limiter and a few weird, crappy old mics that have strange and wonderful characteristics to them.

Comments: I am at the moment working with Malaysian aboriginal music. We will be cutting an album soon. CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP ME IN MY SEARCH FOR THE BEST NEAR-FIELD MONITORING SPEAKER SYSTEM? Alesis Monitor One's or Yamaha NS-10's or Genelec's or KRK's or.........???
