The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.
Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Future plans: I hope to find other musicians to join me in making another guitar instrumental CD. I have one on Somewhen Records called The Whyrendogs. I would like to have more freedom to lay my guitar tracks down as the process was costly and I felt rushed and did not achieve what I wanted in the final product. Good experience though.
Guitars: Carvin DC400A
Sound modules: Music Write, Sonar
Percussion: Yamaha RY9, Sequbeat, Acid Pro, Sonar
Effects: Flextone II combo, Nanoverb, Boss PS2 pitch shift/delay, Boss Noise Suppressor, Boss Compressor/Limiter
Microphones: SM-57
Mixer: PC
Tape decks: Aiwa CX-NA767 Digital Audio System
Monitoring system: Still looking. I mix best as possible on PC and test in many stereos and CD players.
Computers: Gateway Celeron 400, 64mb RAM, 8 mb ATI Rage 128, SB AudioPCI 64D, 7200 RPM WD 40g
Music software: Acid Pro 3, Sonar 2 XL, Music Write 2000, Cool Edit, Sequbeat, Sound Forge XP Studio
Comments: I have a unique sound, some like, some like but think I need some help in mixing (I agree). My final product is a fusion guitar instrumental in the styles (but not limited to) of Shawn Lane, Ritchie Kotzen, Paul Gilbert, Nuno Bettencourt. I cross genres from Michael Hedges acoustic tracks, fusion, hard rock, speed metal, prog rock, experimental. So I don`t have one specific sound but the playing is recognizable.
