The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.

Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Dwight Howie's Studio Details

Basic studio in basement I have produced some good quality recordings but as the equipment mix improves the quality gets better the Behringer 602 mixer has improved transparency of recordings alot.

Future plans: Future plans include production of orignal solo and colaborative work with highest quality possible of production of sound quality and material. A small amount of appreciation would be nice too.


Guitars: Ibanez Blaser bass 1970`s vintage, Ibanez bass newer,Alverez accoustic 6 string, Gibson Les Paul Nock off, Jackson Electric, Lark accoustic 6 string
Keyboards: Basic Sony electric keyboard
Percussion: Drum Kit, Boss Dr. Rythm drum machine, Bajmbe, Bohdran,


Effects: Zoom 24 effects pedal Guitar, Digitec 99 voice effects machine, Whammy pedal
Microphones: Peavy, and middle of raod Radio Shack (will get better ones soon) Rode NT 3
Mixer: Behringer #602A
Tape decks: Tascam 425 MKII
Monitoring system: Carver magnetic field amp(140watts rms per channel) JBL studio monitors, Basic middle of road headphones.


Other equipment: Koss cd burner, Technics 7 band equalizer


Comments: Basic studio in basement I have produced some good quality recordings but as the equipment mix improves the quality gets better the Behringer 602 mixer has improved transparency of recordings alot. The room is a shared space for other activities so compromises have been made in sonic response of room but as I learn the compromises can be overcome
