The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.
Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

I enjoy composing and recording pop morsels and atmospheric ballads, with an emphasis on quality lyrics.

Web site: www.geocities.com/SunsetStrip/Alley/7028/lagoon.htm
Main purpose: Composition
Secondary purpose: Demos
Recording knowledge level: Above average
MIDI knowledge level: Average
Typically work (with): Alone
Completed songs/demos/jingles: 41-60
Future plans: Currently recording the third volume in my series of home demo CD-Rs, and I hope to have all 45+ tracks from the first two CDs available online, in MP3 format, in the near future. I enjoy composing and recording for the sheer fun of it, and am always glad to get serious feedback from folks who give a listen to my amateur efforts.
Guitars: Carlos 6-string, Yamaha 12-string, a borrowed Stratocaster
Keyboards: At the moment, just a Casio (though I used to have access to a Kurzweil K-2000). I`d like a mid-priced, touch-sensitive kbd in the near future (any ideas?)
Percussion: Alesis SR-16
Effects: Alesis Nanoverb; Boss (analog) delay pedal
Microphones: Two Audio-Technica dynamic cardoid mics (suggestions for inexpensive condenser mics gladly accepted!)
Tape decks: Yamaha MT-100X 4-track (I *think* that`s the model #, but could be mistaken)
Comments: I enjoy composing and recording pop morsels and atmospheric ballads, with an emphasis on quality lyrics. Although I've co-written some wacky stuff w/ friends in the past (see http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/6816), my current efforts are almost exclusively solo and pretty melodic.
