The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.
Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Web site: www.geocities.com/breakouthang

Secondary purpose: Recording

MIDI knowledge level: Above average
Typically work (with): Alone

Future plans: I have done demo work for amatuers, semi pros & record labels, graduating to radio ready product, and product for pressing and sale. I`d love to upgrade my gear, but haven`t gotten into a big enough arena for that yet. I hope to have some product released & on the market through the labels that I`ve done demo work for in 2000.

Effects: Lexicon Alex, Alesis MidiverbII
Microphones: Shure SM 57, Shure SM 58
Mixer: Peavey MS1221(okay, so it`s not a recording board) subbed into a Tascam M216
Tape decks: Tascam TSR8 Recorder, TEAC W-360HX Cassette
Hard disc recorders: Roland VS-880EX
Monitoring system: Yahmaha NS-10 Monitors, EV Playbacks, Yahmaha P2075 Power Amp AKG Headphones
Computers: Mac SE, 3.5 floppy
Music software: Vision, Galaxy, Alchemy
Other equipment: BBE 462 Sonic Maximizer, dbx166A noise gate/compresser
Comments: Not a hell of a lot but the sound is oh, so sweet, so clean....use the VS880EX primarily for mixdowns, then to DAT. No vocal booth, but extremely clean vocals, when everyone is quiet. I find tape a lot warmer than digital recording for vocals, guitars, and horns. Moving to Brooklyn N.Y. in June 2000
