The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.

Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Comments: My goal is to capture the sound of the 70's and early 80's basic funk acts (without the old keyboards, violins, horn sections, etc.) like Sly, Stevie, Rick James, Prince, etc. We're using the Tascam 688 because that's all we have, and I've used it on our last CD (which sold over 100 copies worldwide online, making the record go uhh, cardboard).
