The purpose of the Guitar Nine Records' Home Studio Registry is to allow owners and users of home/project studios to communicate with other musicians who are doing similar projects and work.
Far from being the solitary musician locked in a spare room with a bunch of expensive toys, you will finally be able to hook up with others who have many of the same dreams and aspirations as you do.

Future plans: We presently record demos of our original Christian music. We are currently sending out demos to churches, publishers, Christian artists and groups. We have just released our first CD, release date 11/01/01. A compilation of original Christian songs for the church. Our main goal is to promote our songs and get them used within the church and commercially.
Guitars: Primarily we are using a Parker MidiFly guitar for instruments other than guitar For all our guitar work we the Parker Fly Delux, Taylor Accoustic, Fender Strat and Tele.
Keyboards: None
Sound modules: Korg NX5r Keyboard module used with the Parker MidiFly
Percussion: Alesis SR 16 and Boss DR 770 Drum machines
Effects: 2 Lexicon Alex Effects Processors
Microphones: CAD VX2 Tube Condensor Mic used for vocals. Everything else is recorded direct.
Mixer: Tascam 2524 24 channel 8 Buss Mixer
Tape decks: JVC Dual TapeDeck
Hard disc recorders: Fostex D-160 16 track hard disk recorder
Monitoring system: 2 Genelec Monitors and 2 Yahmaha Monitors, AKG Headphones, a Rolls headphone amp
Computers: Not presently being used in recording, but we have plans to incorporated a DAW in the near future.
Music software: MidiSoft Desktop Sheet Music for notation
Sonar XL Used for Mixing
WaveLab Used for Mastering and special effects
Cool Edit used for editing
Waves Effects
Other equipment: We also use a Tech 21 Trademark 10 amp, Line 6 POD, 2 RNC Compressors and a PreSonus Blue Max Compressor. We also have the Fostex CD Burner and the TC Electronic Finalizer Plus for our CD when we start that project.
Comments: We have been recording since Jan/Feb 1999. We work as a husband/wife team and bring in vocalists to record our demos. We work primarily alone as a team, from writing our songs to making the demos. You can hear some of our music on our website. We are open to new ideas. We have come a long way in a year, but still have lots to learn, so we read and ask alot of questions.
