Guitars For Freedom is an all-star compilation CD put together by Angels On Earth / Green Dragon Productions to raise money for the victims of 9/11. The mostly instrumental song list is a mix of previously released tracks, along with some exclusive new tracks. Zakk Wylde recorded his track especially for this CD, as did Steve Vai. The Jimi Hendrix track is an instrumental version of Cream's "The Sunshine Of Your Love" while Carlos Santana performs "Se A Cabo" live at The Royal Albert Hall, London, England. Interestingly, guitarist Allan Holdsworth's "Tokyo Dream" is a new studio version previously only available on the Japanese import version of the "Wardenclyffe Tower" CD.
