Arch Rival Review of "Wake Up Your Mind" @ iTunes By: Wayne Klinger ou're probably wondering wh this band is in here for the simple reason it's 8 years old? To be quite honest, my F.A.R.OUT! features Michael Harris and his new CD, "Sketches From The Thought Chamber" and this is his other band with vocals that I never listened to before. Arch Rival have been around quite some time and they are another decent prog-rock band in the vein of Malmsteen's "Magnum Opus" and "Seventh Sign" (for this CD anyway). Brings back the true old days of metal like Dio but with some hairspray-type influences but more noted of the more serious bands in the music line of Steelheart, White Lion and Winger despite the fact that they came around the same time or after Arch Rival.
