III: Live - On A Mission From God was recorded live at a March 2003 show at The Blue Mountain Coffeehouse in Strausstown, PA. Recorded before an extremely enthusiastic 'home crowd', this recording cracks with energy from start to finish. Included in the set are two songs from the band's first CD and three from the second. Also featured are seven first-time V.I.H. recordings that included standards from their live show, "Never Been To Seminary", "Before You 'Cuse Me", the Allman Brothers' "Change My Way Of Livin'", and a never-before-recorded original, "Don't Fool Yourself". Guitarist Sterling Koch performs his version of "The Star Spangled Banner" in tribute to his guitar hero Jimi Hendrix, and the band brings down the house with their funky take on Blind Willie Johnson's "Trouble WIll Soon Be Over".
