As part of the Swedish metal revolution in the early 1980's, Silver Mountain, and it's guitarist/founder Jonas Hansson, became leaders in the revival of a form of music that is more than just loud and heavy. Now, Jonas, who lives in Los Angeles, has recorded his newest solo effort, Valhallarama. A solo effort, that is, in every sense of the word, as Hansson handles guitar, vocals, all instruments, production, engineering, mixing and mastering. In addition to the twelve vocal cuts, the CD also features the instrumental track "Scherzo In C Minor", which closes the album. Hansson has been busy recently composing music for film trailers for major motion picture studios (20th Century Fox, Universal, Touchstone, for example) and has done sound design for a short film called "Cacophony", which won him twp awards. Neo-Classical Metal, total running time, 48:08
