Neo-Classical Metal/Heavy Metal
The Ultimate Andersson Collection became reality after Swedish keyboard wizard Richard Andersson had a vision of bringing some of his old songs back to life again. The songs are all new recordings, as the production was a bit weak on some of the earlier CDs. The original idea was to bring in well known musicians, with several guitar players and many different singers. As time went on, this became impossible due to the fact that Richard really wanted to have this project completed. Rumor has it that if Andersson couldn't have Mr. Malmsteen as a guest player he wouldn't have any others either. Only his old friend, guitarist Magnus Nilsson, and die-hard fan, guitarist Sven Cirnski, have the honor to appear on this masterpiece. One of the things Andersson is most satisfied with is the enormous effort of Mr. Goran Edman on vocals. The songs have reached another dimension having this extremely talented man behind the microphone. Everything from recording every instrument to mixing and mastering was done by Andersson himself. (Electric (Heavy)/Neo-Classical Metal/Heavy Metal), total running time, 65:38 - Richard Andersson @ iTunes!
In your opinion, which guitarist has a similar style or sound as Magnus Nilsson?
