Bloodseal (once known as The Seventh Seal) is a powerful, progressive rock trio, which combines elements of heavy metal, tech rock, alternative, fusion and classical music to create an excitingly new feel. Since originality is a key feature of Bloodseal, it is difficult to accurately describe their sound, as heard on their CD, Silence In Heaven. Gathering influences from Rush, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, Motorhead, Yes, Bach, and Mozart, it is no wonder their style is different from most conventional rock/metal bands. While Bloodseal's music holds a strong appeal for musicians, their energetic stage show impresses non-musicians, as well. All three musicians (Augustus Bludstone, bass; Chris Dunnett, guitar; Arie Vandenberg; drums) exhibit outstanding expertise on their instruments. Dunnett draws upon his knowledge of classical music, theory and technique, combined with his love of "catchy melodies" to create a fiery and aggressive, yet melodic sound. His rapid movement through complex and obscure licks, along with highly energetic stage movements, tends to create a great deal of excitement in an audience. Heavy Metal/Progressive, total running time, 60:52
