Iron Mask is the sequel to Belgium's power metal act Magic Kingdom fronted by guitarist Dushan Petrossi. Their powerful, Yngwie-inspired, debut album Revenge Is My Name features four instrumental tracks and eight neo-classical metal numbers, with a few progressive and hard rock parts. The band's name and some songs on the album are based on the famous book "The Man In The Iron Mask" from Alexander Dumas. Dushan's guitar playing is influenced by a lot of different musicians and composers, such as Handel, Verdi, Paganini and Mozart. The opening song of the album "Enemy Brother Overture" is Handel's Overture arranged for electric guitar by Dushan, recorded with a real string section. Dushan blends his influences to create his own universe, which combines melody, energy, fantasy, virtuosity, epic lyrics and incredibly fast soloing. If you like good catchy metal songs with a shred attitude then Dushan Petrossi's Iron Mask is for you.
