Return Of The Snow Giant, by Overlorde, features fantastic U.S. power metal with Bobby Lucas (ex-Seven Witches) on vocals. The new kings of the U.S. metal scene are back - this is the one that received a perfect 12/12 points in Heavy Oder Was!? magazine - "The best power metal release of the year!" Overlorde performed its first show in 1985 featuring John 'Kong' Bunucci (bass, lead vocals), Dave Wrenn (drums) and Mark 'M.E.' Edwards (guitar). Influenced by '70s icons Rush and Black Sabbath to '80s mainstays Iron Maiden and Judas Priest, the band concentrated on metal originals from the start, with Kong handling the lead vocals. The band reunited in 2000 after a 12-year hiatus with new vocalist Bobby 'Leather Lungs' Lucas being enlisted. The band has since recorded for several compilation CDs, and received a large amount of airplay on Snakenet.com, the premier heavy metal Internet radio station. The band also emerged victorious as winner of Snakenet's 'Indie Battle of the Bands 2002'.
