Hard Rock
Melody driven riff oriented rock laden with aggressive grooves and intricate guitar work defines the sound of Rogosonic on their CD, Leave The World Alone. Having gained some success and exposure from his Shrapnel Release "Midnight Drive", Stephen Ross began writing with hot up and coming guitarist Ron Cannella to create the band Rogosonic, blending elements of heavy metal, blues and melodic rock. Completing the package are vocalist Dale Toth and drummer Rich Mattalian, two extremely accomplished musicians that add the perfect ingredient to Stephen and Ron's guitar playing. An important part of Rogosonic's sound is the marriage of heavy and aggressive guitar grooves with colorful chord changes, quirky time changes and bluesy melodic vocal lines. With influences ranging across the entire musical spectrum, Rogosonic is full of musical surprises, which should please even the most finicky listeners. Leave The World Alone also includes incredible special guest solos by Toshi Iseda, Joy Basu and Rusty Cooley. Stephen Ross is also the author of "Arpeggios For The Modern Guitarist" published by Hal Leoanard.
(Electric (Heavy)/Hard Rock), total running time, 45:13
