Simple Aggression features five extremely talented musicians from the Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky area. The band exploded onto the world stage with their highly impressive debut recording, Formulations In Black. Band members include madman Doug Carter on vocals, James Carr and Darrin McKinney on guitars, Dave Swart on bass and Kenny Soward on drums. Simple Aggression can best be described as a unique blend of the influences of Metallica, Pantera, and the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Tracks include the ultra heavy "Quiddity", "Frenzy", "Spiritual Voices", "Share Your Pain" and the title track. An alternative influence shows it's head in tracks "Madd", "Lost" and "Jedi Mind Trick". The heavy ballad "Of winter" showcases the band's third side.
