Los Angeles-based bassist/vocalist Christopher Maloney, who has recorded or performed with artists such as Dweezil Zappa and Lisa Loeb, has released his debut record Control. With the talents of his friends Brett Garsed on electric guitar and Shane Gaalaas on drums, Christopher has created a very dynamic and exciting CD that takes the listener on a musical and highly emotional journey. Christopher's unique voice draws you into his world, while his playing keeps you off-balanced and surprised. At the album's end, you realize that you have experienced something incredibly unique. The music on Control is reminiscent of U2, Pink Floyd, The Beatles, Peter Gabriel and Sting. Although classified as modern rock, the music contains many stylistic influences.
