Blues

The Best Of The Blues is a two-CD set featuring a CD's worth of the best of songs from Gary Moore's four blues recordings ("Still Got The Blues", "After Hours", "Blues For Greeny" and "Ballads & Blues 1982-1994"), as well as a CD of live material featuring guests such as B.B. King, Albert King and Albert Collins. Gary Moore has been playing the blues on record since 1990, when he shifted his style from hard rock in favor of his old and true love for the blues. The old school blues players embraced Moore's fresh angle of how to play contemporary blues. Both Albert Collins and Albert King played on Moore's studio release "Still Got The Blues" and selected dates on Gary's enormously successful European tour in 1990. Gary Moore, the fast-fingered rocker, was still present however, especially in the solos and even more so on tour. Rough and ready up-tempo numbers such as "Moving On" and "Stop Messing Around" are powerful enough to keep his old army of fans happy. (Electric/Blues), total running time, 2hr+ - Gary Moore @ iTunes!
