After six years of activity, many live shows across Italy and two demo CDs, "Brothers Of Another Time" and "Leave", the italian band Orion Riders releases their own first full-length CD entitled A New Dawn.
The sound is a mix of heavy metal from the '80s, symphonic power metal and U.S. prog-metal. Speaking of vocals, singer Joe Lombardo is a splendid mix of Helloween's Kiske and Queensryche's Tate. Nine tracks of pure heavy metal, "In Memory" is a restless and evocative beginning while "Whispers" and the title track are a mix of power rhythmics and melodious vocals.
