German guitarist Christoph Lindner's debut CD is entitled Groovin' Bone Guitar, and is an all instrumental treat featuring twelve tracks in the fusion and rock vein. Using wide variety of tones and colors, it's clear Lindner knows his way around the fretboard, alternating soulful guitar lines with nimble-fingered, lightning-fast passages. Each tune makes its own sonic mark, being as different in style from the previous song as it is from the next. The funky track "HipSoul Noise" features a guest guitar solo from Markus Deml from Errorhead, and is, as you might expect, a six-string feast. With Groovin' Bone Guitar, you'll hear bits reminiscent of Michael Lee Firkins, Eric Johnson and other instrumentalists - check it out! Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Rock), total running time, 53:29
