From My Window is a recording in the Larry Carlton-Lee Ritenour tradition -- contemporary jazz fueled by Richard Smith's blazing overdriven solo passages and nylon string melodic moments. Smith's fourth solo recording, From My Window offers eight emotive instrumentals, superbly produced, which feature the guitar in the melodic and solo forefront, supported by keyboards, saxophones and mandolins.
