The new touring ensemble Forever Sharp And Vivid made its recording debut in the summer of 1998 with their self-titled CD. Comprised of three very eclectic Woodstock, New York musicians, drummer Chris Massey, reed player David Castiglione and guitarist David Torn, this trio places itself musically somewhere between the organics of the Catskill Mountains and the outer reaches of the galaxy. These guys can really go in any direction on any given night in that they are all gifted in the art of "spontaneous" improvisation.
