Ever since after his unusual encounter with an unknown entity (November 13, 2005, on his way to a Buckethead concert), Stan Rose of Alien Guitar Abduction has had trouble sleeping. He wakes continuously through the night, troubled by intense dreams - dreams about music. Rose is haunted by an overwhelming barrage of unusual sounds; a symphony of preposterous but intriguing arrangements of melodic and harmonic structures. The only way he has been able to obtain relief is to record everything on his digital workstation. He has recorded over 24 mostly instrumental songs since that night in November - representing well over 200 hours of work. Rose decided to call the growing collection of songs Alien Guitar Abduction. The latest songs have been progressively more bizarre and inspired, completely foreign to anything he has heard before.
