The level of intensity produced by the Canadian intrumental music group Spaced Out is to such a high degree, that the listener is undoubtedly left spellbound. Witness Eponymus II, their 2001 release, which was described by Ken Golden thusly, "Burning fusion quartet showcasing prodigious instrumental chops and complex compositions, good interplay between the musicans allows each member to show his stuff but not at the sake of the tune. One of the better fusion releases I've heard in quite awhile. Highly recommended." "Compared to their self-titled debut, there are even more Mahavishnu-worthy chops on Eponymus II (the tight, fast unisons on the opening track are simply jaw-dropping), and the spacey, mystical prog auras are even more compelling this time around," remarks Todd S. Jenkins Instrumental Guitar (Electric/Fusion/Progressive), total running time, 53:24 - Spaced Out @ iTunes!
