Review of "Electric Horrorland"
|
his is my CD Review of Guitarist Michael Knight's Electric Horrorland
CD which after one listen you will no doubt see that Michael Knight is a hot
shot guitar player who's on fire, that can shred with the best of them. He
sounds like he's the second coming of Steve Vai/Marty Friedman. After
listening to Michael Knight's 13 track Electric Horrorland you'll hear as I
did that Michael Knight is a Guitar Player that let's his fingers do the
talking all across the fretboard. If you miss the days of the Guitar Gods,
the days when there were still flashy, lead guitar players that just wailed
away on the guitar then Electric Horrorland is one CD you'll want to check
out. A lot of these types of insturmental, guitar albums are all too often
boring because each song sounds the same as the one before, or they're just
like one, long, never, ending guitar solo that never takes you anywhere.
Electric Horrorland is nothing like that. This is a CD that takes the
listener on a roller coaster, musical journey. The best thing I can say
about the CD as a whole is that the concept behind the CD is very fresh and
original. Michael Knight wanted to make music which was influenced by video
games he played. Every single song on this CD will hit you over the head,
leave you screaming for more, and also leave you thinking that Michael
Knight may be among the many Guitar players on the scene today gunning to be
crowned the next Shred King or Guitar God for that matter.....Electric
Horrorland is one CD that will not disappoint fans of guitar oriented music.
So go out and pick up Electric Horrorland by Michael Knight.
