Review of "Eat This It's Safe"

By: Henk te Veldhuis

letter at This It's Safe, the debut album by this acoustic guitar player from Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, USA, was well received. He has garnered praise for his work as a guitar teacher and as a writer for Acoustic Guitar Workshop. This album is a true showcase of his fingerpicking and composing skills, and on which you can hear some of the sources of his inspiration, such as Pierre Bensusan, Michael Hedges, Leo Kottke and Eddie Van Halen. Mashu Mashu, played in CGCGCE, and Autumn, in DADF#AD are compositions displaying considerable creativity and variation. 94 Letters and Wind Rag are great pieces and are imbued with the mystical feeling derived from Celtic music. Jennah has a great mood, balance and structure.
