Jose Luis Encinas

"Duende"

The Story
In the music of journeys, traveling many paths, Jose Luis Encinas and his guitar have encountered many different spirits - playful, searching, restless energies and forces which speak to every heart. Exploring and discovering, ignoring stylistic barriers, Encinas respectfully and tenderly shelters all spirits which inhabit music. Flamenco, classical, new age, pop, ambient, world - all are artfully combined by this extraordinary guitarist from Spain. His great talent elevates a wooden, six-stringed instrument and enables it to speak its own language, at once Spanish and universal. Beyond words, it is an expression of deep feelings and desires - the seductive, enchanting voice of "Duende", the spirit of the moment in which music becomes magic.
