A very up tempo and moving song, going wild with the whole harmonic minor / Phrygian dominant tonality. This tune is pretty wide open all the way through. I really tried for a great tone, not only on this song, but the whole CD. There are also some pretty expressive wah parts throughout.

Some really killer tones on this one! An old Marshall Plexi, Overdrive, Wah, and a Strat... a perfect combination! I wanted to capture a very emotional and bluesy vibe here, always keeping the guitar just under control, yet right on the edge of losing it. This song has some very dynamic parts and is one of my favorites on the CD.

This song lent itself to a more simplified approach. It really had a darker atmosphere to it and I found myself riffing along with the bass more in places than soloing. This one is very melodic and uses some pretty cool delay lines too. All in all one of the heavier tunes.

The main riff in this song is very Blackmore-esque. I'm actually not all that familiar with a lot of his work, but I do know enough about it to realize this one is right down that alley. Completely energetic, a slight amount of a blues rock theme, but completely shredding at the same time. I really went all out on this one. Once again, check out the tone!

When you hear how this one starts out, you'll have an idea of what's in store. This song has some pretty terrifying guitar. There is a lot of riffing, soloing, wah incorporation, and it still captures the main groove from the bass line as well. Be sure to catch the really cool shift to the Neo Classical tonality mid way through the track. It really came out great!

Very dynamic with some beautiful passages, all connected by a recurring heavier riff. Again the tone is really right on and there are a couple of cool delay lines to watch out for. Just when you think you've heard it all, you're thrown off guard by the funky, bluesy part near the end!

This song is absolutely nuts! Over 8 minutes of really frantic and wild guitar. I play just about everything in this one. I will say keeping up with this song was a challenge. I always want to put in my absolute best and make it exciting. I believe I've achieved that with this song. I remember my fingers killing me after the recording!

By far the bluesiest tune on the CD, yet still amazingly heavy. Has some of the coolest tones, attack, feel and vibe. It's kind of like a Stevie Ray thing with a bit more rock background. It's subtlem, yet fierce, and is really fun to play. You can really just kick back and rock!
