Italian guitarist Giacomo Castellano is best known for his guitar technique books solo throughout Italy. Since he first began writing music books in 1993, more than 10,000 guitarists have bought and studied from his publications. In the last few years, Castellano has been working as a producer, as well as teaching at various music schools (he is head of the Guitar Department of Music Academy 2000 in Bologna). From his studios in Florence and Madrid comes his first solo album Cutting Bridges - the culmination of years of work and experience with extraordinary musicians. The music on the album embraces many styles and musical languages. However the common denominator of the CD is the guitar, the instrument which makes Giacomo Castellano a truly great artist.
