Fatt Cat Freddie
"Crusin' For A Bluesin'"
|
"Crusin' For A Bluesin'" is Wyoming-based blues band Fatt Cat Freddie's 1999 debut recording, and featuring high energy electric blues in the tradition of Alvin Lee, Tinsley Ellis and Pat Travers. The 12-song disc showcases all original material, achieving radio interest ranging from local to international radio play as far as Great Britain and Eastern Europe. The band boasts seasoned performers who together have been performing live shows for a number of years. Guitarist and vocalist Brian Leneschmidt leads the trio, which is rounded out by the rock-solid Rob Tenorio (drums) and the low end of Steve McDonald (bass). Keyboard player Monte Hughes contributes organ to the slow blues number "Downtown Blues". "Crusin' For A Bluesin'" showcases the blues/rock edginess of a band on the rise.
