"Cruisin' Deuces" finds the talented guitarist Danny Gatton abandoning the all-instrumental approach of "88 Elmira St." for a mostly instrumental release, with vocals by guitarist Billy Windsor. "Cruisin' Deuces" also features a backing ensemble of John Previti on bass, Bill Holloman on saxophone and keyboard and Shannon Ford on drums.
